Job summary

Tarantino Properties, Inc. in Houston, Texas is seeking a Software and Operations Support Specialist to support the company’s property management software systems.

This role bridges operations, accounting, and IT to ensure software platforms support business objectives and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with property management software and strong collaboration skills to work with property managers, accountants, and leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with property management software.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• NAA OR HAA Certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for the company’s property management software (RealPage products, Entrata, and Bluemoon).
• Work closely with property managers, accountants, and leadership to ensure accurate setup of rent structures, fees, ledgers, and reporting tools.
• Provide ongoing support for current users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Collaborate with vendors to manage integration with other platforms (e.g., utility billing, leasing, CRM, maintenance, Marketing Syndication etc.).
• Assist in the setup of new users in the system, ensuring appropriate access rights, and role-based permissions.
• Maintain user permissions, data integrity, and system documentation.
• Set up properties with the appropriate utility billing vendor to ensure timely payment of property utilities and accurate resident billing.
• Update FCO and Flex monthly with information regarding new property takeovers and dispositions to ensure accuracy.
