Job summary

Tarantino Properties in Houston, TX is seeking a Software and Operations Support Specialist to join our corporate office. The role bridges operations, accounting, and IT to ensure property management software supports business goals and regulatory compliance.

You will provide ongoing support for RealPage, Entrata, and Bluemoon platforms, configure rent structures and reporting, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors and property teams to optimize systems and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with property management software.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• NAA or HAA certifications are a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and reliable with a focus on accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for the company’s property management software (RealPage products, Entrata, and Bluemoon).
• Work closely with property managers, accountants, and leadership to ensure accurate setup of rent structures, fees, ledgers, and reporting tools.
• Provide ongoing support for current users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Collaborate with vendors to manage integration with other platforms (e.g., utility billing, leasing, CRM, maintenance, Marketing Syndication etc.).
• Assist in the setup of new users in the system, ensuring appropriate access rights, and role-based permissions.
• Maintain user permissions, data integrity, and system documentation.
• Set up properties with the appropriate utility billing vendor to ensure timely payment of property utilities and accurate resident billing.
• Update FCO and Flex monthly with information regarding new property takeovers and dispositions to ensure accuracy.
