Job summary

Modern Tax Group, LLC is seeking a Property Tax Operations & Support Specialist in Dallas, TX. You will ensure filings are timely, maintain clean client records, and support a small team of consultants with a focus on organized processes.

You will own a portfolio alongside 2–3 consultants, liaising with appraisal districts and collectors, and becoming the go-to person for how things get done. Strong attention to detail is essential throughout tax season.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years of administrative experience.
• Property tax experience preferred but not required; we’ll teach you industry specifics.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated; strong time management and organization.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to flex schedule with overtime during March through May.

Responsibilities

• Keep the office running: answer calls, mail, data entry, filing.
• Own the paper trail: maintain client data in tax software and organize documents.
• Be the point of contact with assessors, appraisal districts, and clients.
• Manage the calendar: process tax bills, run weekly deadline reports, add new clients.
• Cross-train teammates to avoid workflow gaps during PTO.
