Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• Four years’ related experience, with at least two years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Knowledge of County and State laws and regulations governing property taxes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities and staff in the collection of property taxes and related functions.
• Supervise and assist with the collection of taxes and coordinate workloads and scheduling.
• Oversee training programs to ensure compliance with state laws, rules and regulations.
• Communicate with Finance, Engineering, GIS and Planning to maintain special fees database.
• Lead software implementation projects and train staff on new property tax software.
• Generate lists for tax sales, file liens, and coordinate with vendors/newspapers for notices.
• Monitor and analyze records and statistics for forecasting and planning purposes.
• Respond to Open Record Requests in collaboration with Administrative Services.
