Job summary

The role requires a seasoned tax professional with at least five years in public accounting, leading engagements, reviewing returns, and staying current with tax law changes.

You will oversee staff development, workflow, billing, and client relationships while driving quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of services in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• CPA certification preferred; public accounting experience required.
• Minimum of five years of public accounting experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Strong decision-making abilities with initiative.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Provide final technical review of tax returns and related documents for the client base.
• Research complex tax issues and develop recommendations.
• Stay current with changes in tax law and accounting procedures.
• Plan, coordinate, schedule, and manage client engagements to meet deadlines.
• Communicate with clients to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Direct and support staff by setting objectives and providing resources.
• Monitor product quality and personnel performance.
• Assign, track, and manage tax projects.
• Mentor and develop team members.
• Build and maintain client relationships to identify opportunities.
• Oversee billing, collections, WIP management, and write-downs.
• Participate in internal CPE and training initiatives.
