Job summary

Simon Property Group is seeking a Finance Tax Administrator to manage the end-to-end processing of corporate real estate and business personal property tax bills at the Indianapolis site. You will receive bills, map entities, input data into Tax.com and JD Edwards, and handle check requests and payments.

The role requires analytical thinking, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in business, accounting, finance or real estate.
• Strong written and oral presentation skills with analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.
• Familiarity with Tax.com (ONESource) is a plus but not required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Administer and process real estate and business personal property tax bills.
• Receive tax bills, identify corporate legal entities and input fields into Tax.com.
• Identify missing bills, generate check requests, and oversee tax bill approvals.
• Enter approved checks into JD Edwards and process payments.
• Track tax payments delivery/receipt and manage escrows with journals.
• Communicate with Finance regarding escrows and coordinate tenant billing.
• Provide lease accounting support and assist monthly accruals, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Support Tax Managers with inquiries and assist annual budgeting as needed.
