Centre County Government is seeking a 911 Dispatcher Trainee – Public Safety Telecommunicator to join the tax/assessment division. The role supports the county's property datasets, CAMA system, and reporting needs, while coordinating with municipal officials and university partners.
Primary duties include maintaining tax rolls, reviewing deeds, and processing Act 1/Act 50 requirements. Strong SQL and data-entry skills are essential; travel and valid PA driver’s license are required.
Shift Available: Full – Time (Non-Exempt)
Office Hours: 8:30 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday (Actual work hours established by department to include unpaid lunch)
High school diploma required with some college education preferred. Experience with SQL, preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Programs, particularly Word and Excel, preferred. Strong data entry skills required. Two to four (2-4) years’ working experience with computer and deed research. Two to four (2-4) years’ working experience in county government or with databases and data entry preferred. Experience managing and manipulating data preferred. Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and a willingness to travel as needed.
