Job summary

United Tribes Technical College is seeking a Property and Supply Technician to manage purchasing, receiving, and inventory duties in the Property & Supply department. The role reports to the Procurement & Postal Supervisor and requires operating forklifts and delivery vehicles to support campus needs.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, at about $18.00 per hour, with regular hours and occasional overtime; candidates must have relevant education or experience and a valid North Dakota driver’s

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Office Technology or related field preferred.
• Or High School Diploma or equivalent with three years full-time related experience.
• Must have a valid ND Driver’s License and be insurable under UTTC’s insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial out-processing and annual inventories.
• Prepares and maintains Purchase Orders and Receiving Reports.
• Secures signatures for delivered supplies and signs for freight.
• Inventories incoming freight against invoices and shipping documents.
• Prepares shipping documents and delivers freight to customers.
• Maintains inventory of property by tagging and logging acquisitions and transfers.
• Serves as Property Disposal Officer and coordinates IT equipment disposal.
• Contacts vendors for incomplete shipments or discrepancies.
• Operates forklift, two-ton truck, golf cart, and delivery van.
• Monitors Warehouse and Gated area; submits requisitions and bids.
