Job summary

VCI Construction is seeking a Warehouse Technician to manage receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. You’ll prepare orders, verify inventory, package shipments, stock shelves, and operate forklifts and pallet jacks.

A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required, with DOT physical exam eligibility and preference for forklift experience. Benefits include weekly pay, PTO, 401(k) match, stock purchase, education reimbursement, legal insurance, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver's license with clean driving record.
• Able to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a medical card.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computer and inventory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements
• Check and verify inventory to ensure availability of needed stock
• Notify the Supervisor of shortages and packaging material restocking needs
• Package and ship products according to packaging guidelines and practices
• Stock shelves in the warehouse and put away new materials
• Organize pick tickets and cross-check them with packing slips and work orders
• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments; confirm accuracy with packing slips and purchase orders
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift for loading and unloading materials
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Other duties as assigned
