Job summary

Cove Property Management in Baltimore is seeking a Service Manager I to lead maintenance operations across properties. You will respond to repair requests, supervise a maintenance team, and ensure timely completion of tasks while complying with all regulations.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, vendor coordination, preventative maintenance, and high-quality customer service, with on-call duties and on-site work at multiple properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations.
• HVAC certification and CAMT required.
• Ability to demonstrate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, landscaping, and pool operations skills.
• On-call emergency response availability.
• Valid driver’s license and travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Attend to repair requests and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Schedule with vendors and manage capital upgrades.
• Prepare residences for occupancy and oversee apartment turnover.
• Direct daily activities of maintenance team and provide hands-on training.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases and manage vendor pricing for best costs.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across all buildings.
