Gallery Residential in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Service Technician in Maintenance who will perform technical and mechanical work to keep the property, grounds, amenities, and common areas safe, clean, and functional.

You will handle work orders within 24–48 hours, assist in make-ready processes, manage materials, document work, and support residents with courteous service while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling and a valid driver's license are required by state and local jurisdictions.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated mathematical skills to perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Logical thinking and problem solving for maintenance tasks.
• Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management; property management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests within 24 to 48 hours.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments, coordinates vendors, and inspects completed work.
• Tracks inventory, obtains supplies, and notifies supervision about re-ordering needs.
• Documents work orders timely and accurately for records.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints surfaces as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
• Inspects contractor work to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Follows safety policies, attends safety meetings, and completes required training.
• Provides courteous customer service to residents and colleagues.
• Performs routine property inspections to identify safety and maintenance concerns.
• Maintains attendance and meets physical demands of the job.
