Job summary

AIG, a global leader in insurance, seeks an Associate Actuary for North America Property Pricing. You will quantify risk, price insurance, and reserve losses across major operating companies, collaborating with Finance, Claims, Operations, Marketing and Risk Management.

You will support NA Property pricing, streamline processes, and partner with pricing actuaries and catastrophe modelers to improve practices and profitability across Lexington, Retail, and Canada.

Qualifications

• ACAS designation required.
• 5+ years of commercial lines actuarial experience, preferably with pricing.
• Strong communication skills for senior management presentations.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Solid understanding of catastrophe modeling fundamentals.
• Timeliness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support North America Property pricing across Retail, Lexington and Canada.
• Streamline processes across Property segments.
• Partner with pricing actuaries and catastrophe modelers to implement best practices.
• Develop pricing and underwriting strategies with Chief Underwriting Office.
• Review pricing parameters and monitor adherence to procedures.
• Coordinate pricing, planning and accumulation with cat modeling team.
