Job summary

AIG is seeking an Associate Actuary – A&H Pricing, North America to drive pricing strategies and product development for a leading insurer. You will quantify risk, price products, and provide analyses for senior stakeholders, working across Finance, Claims, Operations and Underwriting.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in actuarial pricing, ASA/ACAS preferred, with strong Excel, Python, PowerPoint and R skills, and a track record of leadership in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related area.
• ASA / ACAS designation preferred.
• At least 4+ years actuarial experience; A&H pricing preferred.
• Advanced Excel, Python and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of R a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive product innovation by collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market.
• Assess and provide risk mitigation solutions aligned with corporate goals and regulatory standards.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership to influence decisions.
• Mentor a team of actuaries and analysts and engage with stakeholders.
• Manage pricing transformation projects and budgeting/reinsurance planning.
