Job summary

Pennymac seeks a Property Preservation Associate III in Moorpark, CA to support loss analyses, vendor management, and property timelines for escalated and high‑risk loans within Property Preservation.

You will lead bids, review repairs, and coordinate response workflows while ensuring preservation milestones meet FHA/VA/USDA/FNMA/FHLMC guidelines and align with our values of accountability and ethics.

Qualifications

• This is an in-office role.
• Ability to review photos of homes and property to determine repairs and conveyance condition per FHA/VA/USDA/FNMA/FHLMC guidelines.
• Ability to meet and exceed goals in a fast-paced environment using daily reports to ensure compliance.
• Ability to review bids, photos, and inspections daily to track vendor work on 200+ loans.
• Candidate must be highly organized, ethical with strong attention to detail.
• Mortgage Servicing or related experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-risk and complex loan portfolios to ensure preservation milestones and conveyance timeframes are met.
• Lead vendor management by evaluating, negotiating, and approving repair bids to minimize losses.
• Conduct quality reviews of completed vendor repairs and photos for compliance with budgets and standards.
• Evaluate daily reports, line-item insurance claims, and property inspections to identify root causes and corrective paths.
• Coordinate response workflows for consumer complaints, city code violations, receiverships, and demolitions.
