Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking an Operations Manager to support the Operations Director and site team in maximizing occupancy, customer service, and financial performance of the installation.

You will oversee leasing, financial reporting, and resident relations, coordinating with the military housing office and partners to ensure exceptional living experiences while managing team performance and operating budgets.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in property management or customer service environment.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Achieve budgeted occupancy, implement marketing strategy, and prepare market reports; oversee leasing and fair market rent management.
• Review PO processing, invoices and vendor communications; assist with financial reports; oversee rent and delinquency collections; manage MAC Allotments and Yardi data; handle move-in/out deposits.
• Maintain knowledge of legal documents and company policies; coordinate with military housing office on resident issues and partner expectations.
• Ensure high resident experience and satisfaction; monitor customer service scores and implement action plans.
• Collaborate with Facilities Management to address resident issues and develop scopes of work; conduct on-site audits and inspections.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring and onboarding; train staff and develop career pipelines; review team performance.
