Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Laurel, MD to support leasing, collections, and resident services under the Property Manager. You will help maintain high property standards and deliver excellent service to residents and staff.

Responsibilities include handling delinquencies, move-ins, renewals, and coordinating with vendors while ensuring compliance with housing laws. A two-year degree or equivalent experience is required, with driving may be involved.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or two to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• Prior property management or managerial sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance may be required for travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leasing, collections, resident services and maintenance oversight.
• Address delinquent accounts, collect payments and manage move-ins and renewals.
• Prepare monthly reports on renewals, rents, leasing and retention; train staff as directed.
• Support the Property Manager and coordinate with vendors and staff as needed.
