Job summary

Morgan Properties in Beltsville, MD is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support leasing, collections, resident services, and maintenance oversight under the Property Manager. You will help with rent collections, move-ins, renewals, and tenant communications to maintain high property standards and strong resident relations.

Qualifications include an Associate degree or 2–3 years of related experience, valid driver’s license, and proven customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (A.S, A.A.) or 2–3 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in property management or managerial experience in a sales/customer service role.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance may be required for traveling between properties.

Responsibilities

• Assist leasing, collections, resident services and maintenance oversight to support daily operations.
• Provide managerial support and staff coordination in the absence of the Property Manager.
• Build/vendor relations and oversee lease and renewal processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain accurate resident records and promote resident retention programs.
