Job summary

Hecktman Family JCCs of Chicago is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Director, Facilities in managing Camp Chi/Perlstein property operations, repairs, and safety programs. You will lead maintenance staff, coordinate with vendors, and ensure projects stay on time and within budget.

Full-time, evenings and weekends are required, with on-site work year-round. Candidates should have a high school diploma, OSHA knowledge, and 3 years in property maintenance or camp/park management,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.
• First Aid/CPR and ServSafe certification desired; required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate with Director, Facilities.
• Inspect facilities for safety and coordinate repairs, landscaping, and housekeeping.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors; manage bids and schedules.
• Report progress, issues, and needs to Director, Facilities; ensure on-time, on-budget work.
• Provide evening/weekend coverage and support program needs.
