Job summary

The Hecktman Family JCCs of Chicago is seeking an Assistant Property Manager - Camp Chi (FT) to oversee repairs, maintenance, and landscaping at Camp Chi/Perlstein. You will work closely with the Director, Facilities and supervise maintenance staff, ensuring safety and timely project completion.

This on-site role requires hands-on building and grounds work, budget awareness, and collaboration with contractors to keep facilities in optimal condition for year-round programs and events.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience in property management or related field.
• Experience supervising staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director, Facilities, to complete repairs and maintenance tasks for buildings and grounds.
• Oversee security, landscaping, and routine housekeeping at Camp Chi/Perlstein.
• Coordinate with contractors, review bids, and schedule work to meet deadlines.
• Monitor safety, ensure compliance with budgets, and report progress to the Director.
