Job summary

Housing Trust Group seeks an Assistant Property Manager to join our property operations team. The role covers leasing, marketing, accounting, and maintenance tasks under the Property Manager, with the ability to operate the property in the manager’s absence.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of tax credit experience, sales or leasing background, and strong computer skills including Yardi Voyager. You will support budgeting, reporting, and vendor coordination while ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of tax credit experience.
• Sales and/or leasing experience.
• General office and accounting skills.
• Proficiency with computers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager in supervising on-site staff.
• Work with the Property Manager to resolve property management issues.
• Work closely with vendors to ensure service contracts compliance.
• Assist in preparing operating and capital budgets and reconciliations.
• Assemble and review operating budgets under the Property Manager.
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify problems.
• Ensure adherence to policies, codes, and regulations.
• Review accounts payable for accuracy.
• Post resident and rent payments and manage move-ins/outs.
• Prepare monthly reports with the Property Manager.
