Job summary

Fairfield Homes, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Community Manager to oversee daily operations of a residential community in Columbus, OH. You will manage leasing, renewals and resident relations while ensuring a welcoming environment and strong curb appeal.

The role requires at least one year in property management with affordable housing experience (HUD Section 8, LIHTC, HOME). A collaborative team will support occupancy, retention and financial goals, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of property management experience.
• Affordable housing experience preferred (HUD Section 8, LIHTC and/or HOME).
• Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills.

Who You Are

You are an experienced Community Manager with at least one (1) year of property management and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Because you interact daily with residents, you take pride in creating a welcoming, well-managed community where residents feel valued and supported.

What You'll Be Doing

What You Need

• At least one (1) year of property management experience
• Affordable housing experience, preferred (e.g. HUD Section 8, LIHTC and/or HOME)
• Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills
• Ability to successfully multitask, solve problems and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of leasing, resident relations and community operations
• Proficiency with computers, mobile devices and property management software (such as Yardi or RealPage)
• Sales and marketing skills, a plus
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and motor vehicle insurance
