Timberland Partners Inc in Burnsville, MN seeks a Property Manager for a 231-unit community. You will oversee staffing, marketing, maintenance and resident relations to ensure quality service and asset performance.

The role requires on-site leadership, budget management, lease administration and collaboration with the Marketing Dept; compensation includes base pay 78k-83k and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Previous Property Manager experience highly preferred.
• 2+ years on-site Leasing Consultant or Assistant Manager or 3+ years supervisory with customer service.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• High School diploma or equivalent; college-level education preferred.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• YARDI experience preferred.
• Active apartment association membership preferred.
• Industry designations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage community rental rates to maximize income.
• Address resident complaints, concerns and requests appropriately.
• Maintain community appearance and report/complete maintenance.
• Implement marketing strategies and initiatives as prescribed by Marketing Dept.
• Review applications, prepare leases and complete paperwork.
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in on the date.
• Orient new residents to the community.
• Prepare annual budgets.
• Ensure deposits and payments are collected promptly.
• Set on-site staff schedules and lead the team effectively.
• Support staff development and growth.

We are looking for a Property Manager for our Apex location. This 231-unit community is located in Burnsville, MN.
As the Property Manager you directly oversee the staffing, marketing, maintenance, and customer relations of the properties.

Responsibilities: (include, but are not limited to)

• Monitor and manages the community rental rates to maximize income

• Ensure deposits, rental payments and all other charges are collected in a timely manner
• Responsible for setting the work schedule for all on site employees
• Lead by example and help your team grow by supporting their development

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous Property Manager experience highly preferred
• 2+ years of on-site Leasing Consultant and/or Assistant Manager experience or at least 3+ years of supervisory experience with customer service orientation
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
• High school diploma or equivalent, college-level education strongly preferred
• Computer proficiency, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
• YARDI experience preferred
• Active apartment association membership preferred
• Industry designations strongly preferred

Pay: $78,000 - $83,000 per year plus bonus potential

Physical Demands: The job is periodically sedentary, but requires mobility (i.e. climbing stairs or squatting) to tour
and inspect apartments/communities. Involves sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged
periods of time and stooping for brief periods of time. There is some repetitive motion of the
hands and wrists associated with using a computer.
