Responsibilities
  • Manage regular move‑in and move‑out flow, including checking units, collecting tenant information, explaining move‑in instructions, sending notices, and handling deposits based on inspections.
  • Operate the Appfolio system to manage customer data, maintenance requests, contracts, and other related issues in the renting process before and after tenants move in.
  • Assign work orders and assist maintenance technicians with inspecting properties, supervising repairs, and maintaining property units, common areas, and amenities to fulfill tenant requests.
  • Communicate with landlords and advance the completion of maintenance/repair progress with vendors.
  • Occasionally visit different properties to ensure all sites and communities are maintained properly and foresee potential problems.
  • Establish fluent communication and good relationships with tenants by investigating and resolving their complaints.
  • Write, edit emails, and make phone calls to vendors, owners, and other organizations for discussing and scheduling minor construction issues and other matters.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of property management experience with managing multiple apartment buildings at the same time.
  • Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Capable of operating Appfolio and different management or accounting software.
  • Capable of effectively handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Capable of visiting different sites to perform inspections and regular communication with tenants.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Fluent English speaking and writing.
  • Familiar with all kinds of MS/Google office software.
  • Driver's license and vehicle required.

$21 - $25 an hour
