Job summary

Tripalink, located in Los Angeles, is seeking a Maintenance Worker who will be responsible for completing work-orders efficiently and performing various maintenance tasks in the building. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma or GED.

The role offers a pay range of $24 - $26 an hour, along with an energetic working environment and growth opportunities. Applicants are required to have their own tools and a pick-up truck for travel between property sites.

Responsibilities

• Completes work-orders in an effective and timely manner
• Reacts immediately to emergency work orders or calls after work hours
• Performs routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair
• Repairs broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
• Works on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
• Maintains the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
• Paints the building when the paint has become faded or chipped
• Deals with the trash can issue and maintain the cleaning environment for the community
• Fixes potential safety hazards to avoid injuries

Requirements

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
• Minimum 2 years related experience performing maintenance tasks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation skills and customer orientation
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to operate various power tools.
• Must have own set of tools.
• Must own a pick-up truck
• Travel from property site to site

$24 - $26 an hour
