AWI Management Corp. is seeking a dedicated Property Manager for a lease-up at a new property in Palmdale, CA. You will oversee daily operations, screen applicants, prepare leases, and ensure compliance with community policies while maintaining high standards and resident satisfaction.

The role emphasizes organized operations, strong communication, and collaboration with a team in a mission-driven environment. Experience with affordable housing programs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management or similar role preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation and access to a personal smartphone (usage reimbursed).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software/databases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the community.
• Process applications, screen applicants, verify landlord references.
• Prepare leases, house rules, and required documentation.
• Manage tenant certifications and recertifications.
• Conduct move-ins and move-outs; collect rent and security deposits.
• Enforce lease agreements and community policies; coordinate maintenance.

As the Property Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community while ensuring residents receive excellentserviceand the property ismaintainedto AWI'shigh standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing all aspects of the assigned property's daily operations
• Processing applications, screening applicants, and verifying landlord references
• Preparing leases, house rules, and required documentation
• Managing tenant certifications and re-certifications
• Conducting move-ins and move-outs
• Collecting rent and security deposits
• Enforcing lease agreements and community policies
• Coordinating maintenance and ensuring property standards are met
• Maintaining strong curb appeal and property presentation
• Marketing and advertising vacant units to attract qualified residents
• Responding appropriately to emergency situations
• Following company policies and procedures
