Job summary

Cornerstone Residential is seeking a Property Manager to lead daily operations at an assigned multifamily property. You will oversee leasing activity, renewals, collections, financial reporting, supplies and communications, while directing the property management team to meet budgeted goals.

This full-time on-site role requires strong communication, outstanding customer service, and adherence to housing laws.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in multi-family property management.
• Working knowledge of OneSite or other property management software.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Proven ability to market properties.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• HUD/LIHTC experience or familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations.
• Inspect property and verify condition of vacant units.
• Oversee long-range capital improvements planning.
• Ensure proper bookkeeping and daily deposit/recordkeeping.
• Compile weekly/monthly property status reports.
• Respond promptly to resident concerns and complaints.
• Prepare move-in paperwork, keys, and remotes.
• Maintain professional, well-staffed office operations.
• Inspect make-ready apartments prior to move-in.
• Maintain resident renewal program to encourage retention.
• Create a sense of community while enforcing policy.
• Manage property maintenance with the team and supervise repairs.
• Monitor utility usage and manage finances.
• Approve and submit invoices; maintain property transaction records.
• Post rents and ensure timely collections; handle evictions notices.
• Ensure compliance with permits and safety regulations.
• Coordinate marketing activities and market research.
