Job summary

VOA - Texas is seeking a property manager to hire, train, supervise and evaluate staff, manage property office functions, and ensure compliance with HUD and related regulations in Dallas–Fort Worth.

The role involves budget support, leasing preparations, marketing, and maintaining records, with a strong focus on service coordination and community impact. On-site presence may be required.

Qualifications

• Three years of property management experience or more.
• Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, 202, 811, LIHTC and conventional properties.
• May be required to live on site.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and ability to be insured.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, supervises, evaluates, and disciplines staff.
• Manages property office staff and bookkeeping, marketing, and lease prep.
• Supervises social service coordinator and function.
• Assists in budget preparation for the property.
• Markets the property in line with Fair Housing and agent guidelines.
• Submits reports as required by management or government.
• Maintains office files and deposits all monies received.
• Inspects property daily and coordinates repairs as needed.
• Responds to resident requests and complaints.
