Morningstar Properties is a vertically integrated real estate developer, owner, and operator of specialty real estate products focused primarily on self-storage, marinas, and multi-family. Foster Flats is our newly developed high-rise community located in the lively South End neighborhood, offering private rooms and full apartments that include amazing amenities such as community lounges one each floor, a bookable kitchen, and a large gathering and co-working space complete with an outdoor patio and views of the Charlotte skyline.

Description
The Senior Property Manager at Foster Flats is a critical role focused on optimizing the occupancy, operations, and revenue of this multifamily property in lease-up stage. This role will be keenly focused on leading creative marketing efforts, establishing community partnerships, delivering exceptional experiences to future and current tenants, and managing the property like an operator, maximizing revenue and NOI. The Senior Property Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the property, including managing a team of staff. There will be a high level of responsibility to adhere to the budget, lease up the property, support marketing and drive creative strategies, and run the business like an owner.

Day-to-day responsibilities may vary but generally include the following:
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management or a related field.
· Solid understanding of residential and commercial tenancy law and property management principles required.
· Multi-family lease up & marketing experience strongly preferred.
· Interpersonal Skills:
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
o Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
· Technical Skills:
o Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools.
o Proficient in property management software, Entrata preferred.
o Familiarity with financial analysis and budgeting processes, including creating comprehensive budgets, calculations, and reports.
· Work Ethic:
o Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
o Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
o Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
