Job summary

HRI Properties is seeking a skilled Property Manager to oversee apartment operations, including accounting, leasing support, and resident services in a multi-family portfolio. You will manage reporting, rent collections, and compliance across properties to ensure quality living environments.

The role emphasizes leasing, resident relations, and accurate data entry in Yardi, with collaboration across teams to optimize occupancy and retention in a demanding market.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Property Manager experience is required.
• Knowledge of LIHTC, HOME, HUD, and Housing Agency requirements is preferred.
• Must possess basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, prospective renters, and current residents.
• Respond to inquiries to generate prospective visits.
• Tour and market apartments, using sales skills to close prospects.
• Explain lease terms and answer tenant questions.
• Monitor model apartments and ensure readiness.
• Prepare renewal and recertification reports.
• Coordinate with housing agencies for move-ins.
• Enter data into Yardi and other systems.
• Process applications, conduct credit checks, and prepare files.
• Maintain resident relations and retention efforts.
• Assist with marketing outreach and updates to online listings.
• Assist with move-out processes and collection of payments.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports with managers.
• Support payables and invoicing processes.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and program deadlines.
• Coordinate with maintenance to complete work orders
