Job summary

VPH Management Services LLC in New York, NY seeks a Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across assigned properties, ensure financial objectives are met, and drive leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations in alignment with company standards.

This role requires budgeting, staff supervision, contract oversight, and timely reporting of financial performance, while enforcing leases and complying with OSHA, ADA and Fair Housing laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• AA or BA degree in a related field (preferred).
• Four (4) years of related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day management at assigned properties; maintain regular communication with tenants, vendors, city agencies and local community.
• Provide leadership to property management staff to optimize marketing, leasing, occupancy, collections, maintenance, capital improvements and HUD/LIHTC compliance, as needed.
• Inspect and arrange maintenance work orders to meet standards.
• Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants.
• Oversee leasing and marketing efforts in a timely and reliable manner.
• Monitor property inventory and report on financial performance.
• Develop and manage annual budgets by forecasting requirements and analyzing variances, data and trends.
• Oversee properties’ staff and assess performance; supervise work orders and staff development.
• Assist with violation removals and ensure compliance with lease requirements.
