Job summary

You will move between sites, coordinate schedules, and communicate with residents, vendors, and inspectors to maintain high service levels and compliance with NYC and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of residential building maintenance or related experience preferred.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Field Supervisor with daily oversight and coordination of porter and maintenance staff across properties and shifts.
• Conduct site visits to verify cleanliness, maintenance quality, safety, and staffing coverage.
• Provide hands-on support to staff to maintain service levels and fix urgent building issues.
• Assist with training, coaching, and mentoring employees on work quality and safety.
• Monitor staffing coverage, schedules, and operational priorities; report concerns to supervisor.
• Perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and routine inspections.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and work orders.
