Job summary

The Standard at Leander Apartments in Leander, TX is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our apartment community. You will manage leasing, budgeting, staff supervision, maintenance coordination, and resident relations to ensure a high-quality living experience.

The ideal candidate leads with a customer-first mindset, maintains market knowledge for pricing, and ensures market-ready units and strong operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of property management experience.
• Experience in leasing, rent collection, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be self-motivated, organized, and capable of operating independently.

Responsibilities

• Physically inspect all common areas daily to ensure peak readiness and address any issues.
• Walk the property daily to check cleanliness, safety, and condition of buildings, driveways, laundry rooms, pools, landscaping, and exterior features.
• Maintain current market information to ensure accurate pricing and develop marketing programs to maximize market position.
• Ensure market-ready units are available and in market-ready condition.
• Approve lease paperwork daily (applications, move-ins, move-outs, renewals); walk moves with residents to ensure satisfaction and assist as Leasing Consultant when needed.
• Collect, record, and deposit property income accurately and promptly.
• Hire, train and review performance of on-site personnel; manage their activities and maintain personnel files.
• Approve invoices for goods or services; manage accounts payable and train staff on its use.
