Job summary

NE Property Management is seeking a Property Manager for the Lariat on McKinley Apartments in Abilene, TX. This role oversees on-site teams, drives occupancy and NOI goals, and ensures top-tier operations across a premier multi-family portfolio.

The position emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and operational excellence with close collaboration to regional executives; health benefits and a solid PTO plan are part of the package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years on-site property management experience in multi-family communities.
• 1+ year supervisory experience leading teams.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, invoices, evictions, and legal workflows.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; CAM designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive financial operations: rent collections, deposits, budgets, delinquency actions.
• Supervise on-site teams: interviewing, training, and reviews to meet company benchmarks.
• Maximize asset condition: walk the community, assess vacancy status, report capital needs.
• Coordinate maintenance: track vacancy logs, schedule make-ready to ensure fast turn times.
• Host weekly team meetings to discuss priorities and safety training.
• Audit lease documentation for compliance and corporate policy.
• Resolve resident disputes with strong customer service and community care.
• Conduct market surveys and provide trend reports to leadership.
• Preserve curb appeal and brand across the leasing office and models.
