Job summary

Arcan Capital is seeking a Manager in Training to oversee leasing operations, financials, and resident relations in a fast-paced property management environment. You will support leasing activities, verify applications, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing guidelines.

The role emphasizes leadership, training responsibilities, rent collection, and budgeting to enhance NOI while maintaining high service standards for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in property management or related field.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic accounting and bookkeeping practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly assistance to residents via phone, email, and in person.
• Support leasing by verifying applications and ensuring Fair Housing compliance.
• Assist with staff training and model effective sales techniques.
• Lead rent collection, manage delinquent accounts, and initiate lease actions as needed.
• Contribute to budgeting to improve net operating income.
• Maintain resident records, process payments, and oversee banking functions.
• Conduct move-in/move-out inspections and ensure quality standards.
• Act as Property Manager in absence and adapt to needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
