Job summary

Oaks Integrated Care in Mercer County, NJ, is seeking a Property Manager to oversee housing operations and ensure compliance with HUD/state housing requirements. This full-time role centers on coordinating inspections, utility onboarding, and tenant-landlord processes to maintain safe, compliant properties.

You will work closely with landlords and the housing team, handling inspections, documentation, and on-call property concerns while supporting residents with care and service coordination.

Qualifications

• Requires excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Experience with HUD or State housing requirements, supportive housing, or NJ real estate management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant databases.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with local fire codes and prepare for annual fire inspections.
• Coordinate internal inspections and ensure compliance with inspections from State funding sources.
• Maintain understanding of tenant-landlord law and procedures.
• Monitor condo association regulations and ensure compliance with tenant documentation requirements; attend condo association meetings as necessary.
• Monitor local inspection codes and ensure compliance; coordinate and document regular inspections.
• Ensure start-up of utilities for new properties.
• Trouble shoot routine maintenance and coordinate with maintenance staff for repairs.
• On-call for property concerns.
• Collaborate with landlords for move in/out inspections with DCA and SHC for housing inspections.
