Job summary

Arcan Capital, a southeastern US apartment owner and manager, is seeking a Property Manager to lead daily operations, leasing, maintenance, and financial oversight across our communities. Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in residential property management, including staff supervision, financial management, and budget oversight.
• Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, Rent Café) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in training, developing, and mentoring a high-performing team.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to resolve resident concerns professionally.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Strong integrity and professionalism, including confidentiality, fiduciary responsibility, and adherence to federal, state, and local fair housing laws.
• Ability to adapt to change and work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive and motivating attitude.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all property operations, including leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and audits.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate with residents and prospects.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team across leasing, service, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing laws.
• Manage vendor relationships and control expenses.
• Adapt to growth and changes in a dynamic environment.
• Perform additional duties to support community success.
