Job summary

Roers Companies, a leading multifamily real estate and property management firm, seeks a Property Manager for the Laveen Village/Phoenix area. You will lead leasing, operations, and maintenance to hit occupancy and performance targets while managing a team and partner with regional leadership.

The role requires 2+ years in property management, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Property management experience
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Yardi and RENTCafé experience preferred
• Local market experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Computer skills: Word & Excel, internet, email, and social media for marketing
• Excellent communication and ability to interact with a wide range of people
• Experience with marketing and leasing initiatives for new development preferred
• Organized, detail oriented with good time management
• Flexible schedule as staffing and property needs vary
• Entrepreneurial mindset and teamwork orientation
• High integrity and trustworthy
• Ability to perform physical functions including walking stairs and inspections
• Maintain neat, professional appearance

Responsibilities

• Achieve property performance goals set by management
• Maintain strong resident relations and ensure resident satisfaction
• Oversee leasing of apartments and maintain occupancy
• Direct property operations and staff efficiently
• Supervise maintenance ensuring timely work orders and repairs
• Oversee rent collections and bank deposits
• pursue delinquent rents and evictions timely
• Supervise resident relations and enforce community rules
• Collaborate with Regional Director to meet annual budget objectives
• Perform other duties as assigned
