Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Property Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and meet budgeted goals while maintaining compliance with policies and safety guidelines. The role includes leasing, resident relations, and program design to improve retention.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of property management experience.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Knowledge in Fair Housing.

Responsibilities

• Operate the property within financial guidelines.
• Perform daily inspections and coordinate with maintenance.
• Supervise staff including schedules, duties, and conflict resolution.
• Interview and hire property employees.
• Uphold AMC policies and report infractions.
• Meet leasing objectives using proper sales techniques.
• Address resident requests or concerns promptly.
• Handle administrative duties and reporting.
• Implement and maintain resident retention programs (newsletter, referrals, social activities).
• Design/maintain marketing concepts for staff to implement.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Fair Housing, and AMC safety guidelines.
• Investigate incidents involving residents, employees, vendors, or others.
