Job summary

The Lawson Companies is seeking a Property Manager Floater to support multiple properties in Virginia. You will handle administration, maintenance, leasing, staff leadership, and resident satisfaction, stepping in as needed in the absence of a property manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of LIHTC/Tax Credit Experience Required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• RAM Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily workflow of the property
• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff
• Financial management
• Maintain property purchases within budget guideline
• Oversight of building maintenance
• Contract administration management
• Regulatory compliance management
• Sales and marketing management
• Recommend, implement and coordinate competitive rental rates and effective rental practices to maximize occupancy rates, minimize vacancy loss and minimize rental loss due to bad debt
• Lease administration management
• Ensure that rents are paid in a timely manner and take appropriate action if they are not
• Review and approve all resident applications and lease agreements
• Resident relations
• Procedural oversight
• Daily travel required
• Other duties as assigned
