Job summary

Humboldt Office in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Property Manager to lead property operations, ensure strong resident relations, and optimize financial performance. The role supervises a team, manages lease activity and renewals, and collaborates with Marketing to maintain curb appeal and occupancy.

The position requires 2+ years in property management or 3+ years as an assistant manager, with knowledge of Section 8/42 and LIHTC preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of two (2) years Property Manager experience or three (3) years of Assistant Manager experience.
• Experience with Section 8, Section 42, LIHTC preferred.
• Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property occupancy and maintain high levels of customer service and resident relations.
• Manage rent collections and maximize property income including various rent streams.
• Control expenses, review invoices, and monitor budgets and variances.
• Lead and train staff, ensure compliance and annual certifications as applicable.
• Assist residents with questions and guide them to submit work orders via resident portal.
• Prepare annual operating budget with Portfolio Director and maintain site records.
