Job summary

CommonPlace is seeking a Property Manager to lead our community operations in Raleigh and guide leasing, maintenance, and resident services. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional living experience while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong financial performance.

You will supervise on-site staff, manage budgets, and drive occupancy through effective marketing and lease administration. A customer-focused, organized leader is essential to foster a thriving, inclusive community.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of property management leadership experience.
• Fair Housing Certification required or to be completed.
• Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Budgeting, financial reporting, and accounts management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations including leasing, resident services, maintenance, and administration.
• Lead on-site staff: hiring, training, scheduling, conflict resolution, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
• Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate with maintenance for a safe, clean environment.
• Develop and manage budgets, track variances, and oversee payables/receivables.
