Job summary

ELH Mgmt. LLC is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a 200-unit affordable housing community in Brooklyn, NY. You will ensure safe operations, resident services, and regulatory compliance while leading staff and managing financial performance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organization, and ability to balance resident relations with property operations. HUD experience and familiarity with NSPIRE are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 35+ years of property management experience, preferably in affordable HUD-assisted or regulated housing.
• Experience managing a property around 150+ units is preferred.
• Working knowledge of HUD housing programs and affordable housing compliance requirements.
• Experience with tenant certifications, recertifications, income and rent calculations, and maintaining compliant tenant files.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of an approximately 200-unit residential property.
• Supervise onsite maintenance and staff; coordinate work orders and turnovers.
• Ensure properties are clean, safe, and well-maintained; oversee inspections and capital improvements as needed.
• Monitor finances: budgets, rents, collections, expenses, and variances; prepare reports for senior management.
