Job summary

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless seeks a Property Manager to lead one or more complex affordable housing properties in Denver. You will ensure regulatory compliance, financial oversight, and strong resident relations while supervising staff and coordinating with partners and services to foster a thriving community.

The role emphasizes leadership, trauma-informed practices, and equity in service delivery, with a focus on adherence to LIHTC, HUD Section 8, and HOME programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Industry designation preferred.
• Colorado driver’s license within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to on-site teams, including hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Ensures full regulatory compliance for LIHTC, HUD Section 8, HOME and related programs.
• Oversees occupancy, leasing strategy, and income eligibility determinations.
• Manages site budgets, rent collection, subsidies, A/R, and monthly reporting.
• Maintains safe, well-maintained properties and coordinates maintenance and safety inspections.
• Engages residents and partners to support housing stability and community relations.
• Leads audits, REAC inspections and investor reporting; mentors portfolio staff.
