Job summary

Newbury Living is seeking an on-site Property Manager in West Des Moines, IA to oversee apartment leasing and resident services. You will market and lease units to sustain high occupancy, process leases and certifications, collect rents, and enforce fair housing practices while maintaining strong resident relations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in apartment management, strong communication, and reliable transportation. We offer a stable work environment with growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent leadership, supervisory and people skills.
• Market and Affordable experience preferred.
• 3+ years of apartment management experience preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, verbal, written communication skills, and computer skills.
• Must possess a valid Iowa driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Market and lease apartments to maintain high occupancy.
• Execute leases & income/asset certifications for residents.
• Collect and process rent and security deposit payments.
• Adhere to fair housing laws and Newbury Living processes & procedures.
• Provide professional resident relations.
