Job summary

The Related Group in Tampa seeks an experienced property administration professional to handle lease preparation, rent collection, and bookkeeping in support of a growing portfolio of properties. You will coordinate maintenance, manage vendor relationships, and monitor occupancy to keep assets performing at a high level.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree or related experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with owners and onsite teams to ensure excellent resident

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or six months to one-year related experience in property management or accounting.
• Experience with lease administration and basic bookkeeping is preferred.
• Understanding of property operations and financial processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares lease or rental agreements and collects rents and impounds.
• Directs bookkeeping functions including receipts, disbursements, and related accounts.
• Coordinates maintenance, alterations, and upkeep per annual budget.
• Manages vendor contracts for security, groundskeeping, and onsite staff as needed.
• Monitors occupancy, lease expirations, and reports to owner; assists with financing discussions.

Led by the Pérez family and a team of the industry's top veterans, Related continues to push the industry bar higher, delivering innovative residential communities that positively transform cities, forge new trails and improve quality of life across all demographics.Job Description:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepares lease or rental agreements for lessees and collects specified rents and impounds.Directs bookkeeping functions, or credits client account for receipts and debits account for disbursements such as mortgage, taxes, and insurance premium payments, management services costs, and upkeep and maintenance costs.Arranges for alterations to, or maintenance, upkeep, or reconditioning or property as specified in management services or lessee’s agreement in accordance with the Annual Operating Budget.Employs, or contracts for services of, security, maintenance, and groundskeeping personnel and onsite management personnel if required, in accordance with the Annual Operating Budget.Purchases supplies and equipment for use on leased properties in accordance with the Annual Operating Budget.Directs and reports on the status of properties such as occupancy rates and dates of expiration of leases.Provides support and assistance to clients relative to financing, purchasing, or selling of property.Prepares periodic inventory of building contents and property condition, and forwards listing to the owner for review.Contracts utility companies to arrange for transfer of service for tenants.Assists with the eviction of tenants in compliance with court order directions from Lawyer and owner.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Associate’s degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Benefits as a Related Employee:Base Salary and Performance bonusMedical, dental, vision, legal services, flexible spending account.
