Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lease available properties, including scheduling and conducting showings, following up on leads, and managing prospects through the automated system.
• Execute all lease agreements in collaboration with our attorney, including the creation of supplemental terms and conditions.
• Conduct property inspections prior to move-in and at move-out, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Oversee maintenance operations, including makeready work, coordination with maintenance technicians, and managing pending work orders.
• Handle all emergencies for properties under management, coordinating response with the operations team.
• Operate independently in the Sarasota office while maintaining close communication with the corporate office.
• Develop and implement local marketing initiatives to attract new owners and tenants.
• Network and build relationships to procure new property management accounts and rental listings.
• Monitor marketing efforts for available properties and maintain up-to-date listings.
• Utilize and maintain proficiency in property management software and scheduling platforms.
• Schedule and track property showings, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with prospective tenants.
• Travel periodically to the Fort Myers office for meetings and training.

We are seeking a licensed Property Manager/Leasing Agent to join our Sarasota office. This is a small office environment with a tight-knit team, so the position requires a highly self-motivated individual who can operate with minimal supervision and take full ownership of day-to-day operations. In addition to overseeing leasing, inspections, and maintenance coordination, this role will also focus on marketing efforts and procuring new business—bringing in new properties for management and rental.

Starting pay $60k plus monthly commission.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Real Estate Sales Associate or Broker license required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in property management, leasing, or a related field.

• Proven track record in marketing, networking, and business development.
• Strong knowledge of Florida landlordtenant laws and leasing procedures.
• Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
