Job summary

Responsibilities include leasing, resident relations, marketing, maintenance, budgeting, rent collection, recertification, vendor relations, selection and recruitment, and team development.

Qualifications

  • A four-year degree in public or business administration, social science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in multi-family housing management.
  • Direct supervisory/management experience.
  • Ability to communicate fluently.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Valid Georgia driver's license, proof of personal auto insurance, and acceptable driving record.

  • Collect damages, arbitrate disputes, and advise residents on avoiding charges.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Initiate and manage core business processes, including leasing, resident relations, marketing, maintenance, budgeting, rent collection, recertification, vendor relations, selection and recruitment, and team development.
  • Approve lease applicants for properties without a centralized admission function.
  • Move in new residents, to include lease preparation and signing, unit inspection, and processing of required records; Perform quality leasing interview, stressing lease obligations, neighborhood services and resident participation opportunities.
  • Conduct annual tenant reexaminations; Process interim changes in tenant income and family composition and required documents for administration of amendments.
  • Collect damage charges; Arbitrate disputes and recommend waiver of charges if in error; Advise residents on avoidance of future charges.
