Motion Property Management Group (Motion PMG) seeks a Property Manager to oversee residential properties through a hybrid field and office role. You will lead tenant relations, leasing processes, and property operations to maximize occupancy and owner returns.

You will manage maintenance, safety, and financials, collaborating with vendors and leadership to deliver top-tier service and asset growth in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor budgets, expenses, and prepare owner reports; negotiate vendor contracts to control costs.
• Develop marketing strategies to attract qualified residents and maintain high occupancy.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and Fair Housing laws.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams and leadership to drive operational excellence.
• Identify opportunities to increase property value and owner returns.

What You'll Do

As a Property Manager, you'll oversee a portfolio of residential properties while serving as a trusted advisor to property owners and residents.

Tenant Relations & Leasing

• Build positive relationships with residents and property owners.
• Manage applications, lease executions, renewals, and move-outs.
• Resolve resident concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Conduct property showings and help maintain high occupancy levels.
• Deliver exceptional customer service that drives resident retention.

Property Operations & Maintenance

• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and property improvements.
• Partner with vendors and contractors to ensure quality work.
• Perform regular property inspections and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Proactively address safety, maintenance, and compliance concerns.
• Help maintain attractive, well-performing properties.

Financial Management

• Manage rent collection and delinquency processes.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and property performance.
• Prepare owner reports and financial updates.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and control operating costs.
• Help maximize property profitability and long-term value.

Marketing & Occupancy

• Implement creative marketing strategies to attract qualified residents.
• Monitor market trends and rental pricing.
• Maintain strong occupancy rates across your portfolio.
• Support resident retention initiatives and lease renewals.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Stay informed on Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant legislation.
• Help mitigate property risks through proactive management.
• Coordinate insurance claims and incident reporting when necessary.

Leadership & Team Collaboration

• Work closely with maintenance teams, vendors, leasing professionals, and leadership.
• Provide guidance and support to on-site personnel when needed.
• Contribute ideas that improve company processes and client service.

Strategic Property Management

• Develop strategies to increase property value and owner returns.
