Job summary

We Search People seeks a hands-on leader to run day-to-day operations of affordable housing communities in Hartford, CT. The role focuses on HUD compliance, resident relations, financial performance, and team leadership.

You will oversee leasing, occupancy, and resident services while ensuring HUD/Section 8 compliance, managing certifications and agency reporting, and directing budgets and vendor contracts. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of property management experience, preferably in affordable housing.
• Direct HUD/Section 8 experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of occupancy, recertifications, and compliance procedures.
• Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and vendor contracts.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office.
