Job summary

MetroPlains Management, LLC is seeking a Property Manager in Fargo to oversee day-to-day property operations and drive value growth. You will handle leasing, marketing, financials, and vendor management while ensuring resident satisfaction.

The role emphasizes autonomy, strong communication, and leadership within a supportive team. A background in affordable housing is beneficial, with a focus on meeting occupancy goals and compliance.

Qualifications

• Sales and Leasing Skills: experience engaging prospects, closing deals, and achieving leasing goals.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Organized and detail oriented with proven planning ability.
• Independence to work autonomously and drive results.
• Valid driver's license and insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Market and lease: attract residents and exceed occupancy goals.
• Compliance: process rental applications with affordable housing standards.
• Strategize: create marketing plans based on market trends and pricing.
• Financial management: collect rents, manage invoices, analyze financials, and control expenditures.
• Vendor relations: work with vendors and maintenance staff to maintain property appeal.
• Resident relations: maintain positive tenant relations and address issues promptly.
• Contracts and procurement: bid and negotiate service contracts and procure supplies.
• Team leadership: train staff and uphold high standards to foster teamwork.
